Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Da Nang, mix of traditions and modernity (_/_/D)

Pick-up and welcome at the International Airport of Da Nang. And then visit Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain). Here, discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Visit the mysterious pagodas and the sculpturing village. Then, visit Cham Museum, which shows the most complete collection of rare and valuable items of the famous Cham Culture. Continue to Son Tra Peninsula, on the way passing Thuan Phuoc Bridge -- the longest suspension bridge in Vietnam -- that crosses the lower Han River. Before returning to Da Nang, take a nice walk along a beautiful long white sandy beach that offers picturesque rapids to witness. Overnight in Da Nang. 

Day 2: Ba Na Hills, stunning beauty of the mountains (B/L/D)

Departure for Ba Na. Ba Na is 1487 m above sea level and known as the second Da Lat or Sapa of Vietnam. Here enjoy four seasons within a day; not many places can make this claim making it a must see on the tourist circuit. Upon arrival, be greeted by monkeys and beautiful panoramic views. Ba Na also gives the chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars. Visit Linh Ung Pagoda, Tinh Tam Garden, Nghinh Phong Peak, Vong Nguyen Hill, etc. Then have lunch and go on a trail to the peak where you can view the sights of Da Nang city and the surrounding mountains. The night will finish with dinner and stay overnight in Ba Na. 

Day 3: French wine influence (B/L/D)

Continue to visit to the Old French Underground Wine Cellar. The French provided heavy influence on Vietnamese culture and this wine cellar is still used today to distil alcohol. After the trip to the wine cellar, check out of hotel and transfer to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An. 

Day 4: Traditional Hoi An, gem of the past (B/L/D)

Begin with an exciting bicycle ride to a local farm in Tra Que Village. Take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Other activities will include: raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and much more. After spending time with the farmers, use the rest of the morning working the land in the time honored way, before breaking to prepare some special foods with a local family. At the conclusion of the tour, ride back to Hoi An. And then, visit of Hoi An’s Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, a handicraft workshop and of course the Japanese Covered Bridge. Overnight in Hoi An. 

Day 5: the sublime road between Hoi an and Hue (B/L/D)

Relax on the beach. After that, transport to Hue. On the road, admire marvelous landscapes with the sea on your right side and rice fields and mountains on the left. Hotel check in and free time. Overnight in Hue. 

Day 6: Hue, Imperial City (B/L/D)

Visit the Citadel, Hue’s most prime attraction, containing the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor's Private Residence. Following the morning activities, have a short break for lunch. Back to your hotel. Free time. Overnight in Hue 

Day 7: Hue, Charms of the Buddhist Temples (B/L/D)

In the morning, take a boat trip on the Perfume River with a stopover at Thien Mu Pagoda, considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. It is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Sai Gon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its cruel treatment of Buddhist monks and followers. Continue to visit the elaborate tombs of Emperor Khai Dinh or Tu Duc. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Hue. 

Day 8: Bach Ma National Park, fresh air and pure landscape (B/L/D)

Heading to Bach Ma. Once in Bach Ma, visit the Bach Ma Mountain (1,444 m) and the Bach Ma National Office. After this part of the trip, travel to the Morin - Bach Ma Villas which offer amazing views of lagoons, sand dunes and mountains. Bach Ma used to be a hill retreat with 139 colonial-styled villas, some of which are upgraded with modern facilities. In the afternoon, accompanied by a park guide, go trekking (5 km) through the park to explore the diversity of the local fauna and flora. Overnight in Bach Ma National Park. 

Day 9: Bach Ma National Park, discovery of natural wonders – Departure (B/L/,_)

Bach Ma, home to 330 species of bird, is considered a birdwatchers' paradise. If lucky enough, trekkers can see countless birds at close range along the foot trails. The majority of our second day together will be spent trekking (7 km) through a dense jungle from the Five Lakes to Do Quyen Falls, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch. The trip offers opportunities to swim in small natural lakes under foliage and conquer mountain cliffs along streams. After an exciting day in Bach Ma, depart for Hue. Free at your leisure until transfer to the airport for departure flight.
