Arrivée à l’aéroport de Hanoi. Accueil par votre guide francophone et transfert à l’hôtel au centre de la ville (30 km – 45 minutes).
Si vous arrivez le matin, nous vous proposons, en attendant la disponibilité de la chambre d’hôtel, de profiter d’une séance de massage selon les méthodes orientales pendant 1 heure. Il permettra en effet de vous relaxer après un long vol et de commencer votre voyage de la manière la plus agréable. Installation à l’hôtel, puis temps libre pour vous reposer jusqu’à 15H00.
Visite du temple Ngoc Son datant du XIXe siècle réputé pour son pont en bois laqué rouge situé au bord du lac de l’Épée Restituée (lac de Hoan Kiem). Promenade à pied à travers la vieille ville populairement baptisée comme quartier des corporations en visitant le petit et typique marché Hang Be qui vous permet de bien vous enthousiasmer avec la vie locale à travers des activités quotidiennes, des petits commerces des locaux. Remarquable spectacle des marionnettes sur l’eau. Dîner libre et logement.
Jour 2. Visite d’Hanoï et train de nuit pour Lao Cai (B)
Journée de découverte au profond de la capitale du Vietnam, plein de charme à multi facette avec ses monuments historiques et culturels millénaires permettant de vous illustrer ses valeurs traditionnelles et modernes, du passé au présent. Départ à 8h30, le programme se démarre avec la promenade vachement agréable dans le domaine présidentiel où se trouvent le mausolée de Ho Chi Minh (fermé tous les lundis, vendredis et de Septembre à Novembre pour l’entretien), le palais du Gouverneur général de l’Indochine, la chouette maison sur pilotis de Ho Chi Minh et la ravissante pagode au pilier unique en forme de lotus. Et puis, nous visitons le temple de la Littérature fondé en 1070 ainsi que la première université du Vietnam en 1076. Déjeuner et continuation de la visite du musée d’ethnographie, un des 7 plus visités du Vietnam exposant la vie matérielle et morale – mosaïque de 54 groupes ethniques au Vietnam. Promenade en cyclo-pousse (1h) en passant le long du lac de l’épée (cœur d’Hanoï) au vieux quartier qui vous offre d’autres émotions visuelles par rapport à la promenade à pied à la découverte de différentes facettes du côté colonial ainsi que l’aspect traditionnel du quartier des corporations. Dîner libre et nuit en wagon couchette climatisé.
Jour 3. Lao Cai - Sa Pa (B, L)
Pour cette journée spéciale, vous avez l’occasion d’explorer ce pays merveilleux en visitant des sites incontournables de Sapa où habitent les Hmong noirs, les Dzaos rouges, les Dzays... et à la découverte de leur maison, leur vie, leurs traditions, leur tissage, leur broderie, leurs terrasses de riz… Arrivée à Lao Cai très tôt le matin. Petit déjeuner dans un restaurant local. Départ pour Sa Pa en empruntant une belle route de montagne (36km/1h). Avant de rejoindre la ville de Sapa, station estivale célèbre du Nord, on voit un vrai spectacle des terrasses de riz qui s’étendent du pic jusqu’au pied des collines. Déposer des bagages à l’hôtel. Départ pour une randonnée de 3h dans une magnifique vallée. À 15km de Sapa, en prenant la route en lacets, il s’apparait des paysages merveilleux sillonnés de collines et de champs en terrasses vers Lao Chai en traversant les villages des Hmong noirs, les écoles… Déjeuner dans un restaurant du village des Dzay. Transfert à Giang Ta Chai, village des Dzao rouges pour découvrir ce village et un vieux pont en rotin – relique des anciens ponts du passé. Dîner libre et nuit à Sa Pa.
Jour 4. Sa Pa – Bac Ha (B, L) (120km/2h30)
Départ pour Bac Ha, pays des Hmong fleuris (120km/2h30) en empruntant une route de montagne de moyenne altitude avec des paysages magnifiques avant de rejoindre le marché Bac Ha.
Le district de Bac Ha constitue l’aire d’habitat de plusieurs minorités ethniques dont les plus nombreux sont les Tay (avec des chemisiers aux attaches en argent), les Phu La (habillés de bleu-noir), les Dao (avec des pompons colorés), les Hmong (aux jupes plissées aux milles broderies)… Leurs villages, nichés sur les pentes de montagnes parsemées de rizières en terrasses, ainsi que leur marché hebdomadaire riche en couleurs transforment Bac Ha en une des principales destinations touristiques du Nord Vietnam.
À l’arrivée để Bắc Hà, visite du marché authentique Bắc Hà. Ce marché très typique et le plus coloré du Grand Nord du Vietnam constitue une excellente occasion pour découvrir la vie des locaux avec sa richesse, ses secrets et sa complexité. Celui-ci est particulièrement vivant et coloré avec la présence de plusieurs groupes ethniques en costume traditionnel et tout neuf. On y trouve aussi toute sorte de produit: buffle, porc, cheval, poulet, chien, tabac noir, piment, plantes médicinales, tissus… présentés de manière très locale. Déjeuner dans un restaurant local. Découverte de la vie quotidienne des habitants en effectuant une randonnée dans les villages de Ban Pho 1 et Ban Pho 2 peuplés essentiellement des Hmong bariolés, situés dans une vallée aux paysages fascinants. Visite de l’ancien palais d’un « roi local » architecture chinoise et française mélangée construit vers 1910. Dîner libre et nuit à l’hôtel.
Jour 5. Bac Ha – Pan Hou (B) (140km/5h)
Départ de Bac Ha en voiture en passant par Xin Man et Hoang Su Phi pour arriver au village de Pan Hou. Ce trajet vous offre des photos audio-visuelles et des sensations les plus surprenantes sur les routes et les paysages de montagne de la région. Vous traversez une belle forêt primaire en descendant de Sin Man. Sur la route, vous pouvez rencontrer des ethnies Hmong, Nung, Tay, Dao rouge, La Chi et Co Lao. Nuit à Pan Hou Resort (dont le propriétaire français connait très bien la région). Dîner libre et nuit à l’hôtel.
Vous pouvez profiter des services sympas de Pan Hou Resort: bain aux herbes médicinales et massage traditionnel pour vous relaxer après un long trajet en voiture.
Jour 6. Pan Hou – Ha Giang (B)/90km
Randonnée dans les villages autour de Pan Hou.
L’écolodge Pan Hou récemment implanté à Hoang Su Phi est un des meilleurs et premiers qui propose ses prestations de cette gamme aux touristes étrangers dans la province de Ha Giang constitue une base de départ parfaite pour partir à la découverte de cette belle région, à la rencontre des Dao rouges, des Hmong, des Tay, des Nung et bien d’autres ethnies exclusivement présentes dans la région comme les Pa Then.
Après le déjeuner libre, départ pour « Ha Giang » à travers des rizières en terrasse, des villages, des paysages magnifiques. Plusieurs arrêts - photo et rencontre de la population locale sont donc prévus durant le parcours. Dîner libre et nuit à Ha Giang.
Jour 7. Ha Giang – Dong Van (165 km) (B)
Transfert à Dong Van (à 1.100 m d’altitude, ce district frontalier avec la Chine est l’extrême-nord du pays dont le sommet Lung Cu (1.600-1.800m), petite ville de montagne très reposante et romantique située dans le haut plateau karstique Dong Van dont l’accès est difficile par une route qui serpente au milieu des paysages de montagnes grandioses. Plusieurs arrêts sont prévus en cours de route à la demande des voyageurs et sur suggestion du guide, pour visiter des villages ou marchés et aussi pour faire des photos d’estampe des paysages fantastiques de ce pays. Sur la route, visite du village Pho Bang très typique et connue pour ses maisons traditionnelles dont les murs sont en terre battues et le toit est recouvert de chaumes. Arrivée en fin d’après-midi dans la charmante et petite ville de Dong Van. Dîner libredans un restaurant local et nuit à l’hôtel.
Le Haut Plateau Dong Van est situé dans le nord de la province de Hà Giang. D’une superficie de 2.356 km², il englobe quatre districts de la haute région du Nord : Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van et Meo Vac. Le 3 octobre 2010, le plateau karstique de Dong Van a été reconnu membre du Réseau mondial des géo parcs. Il est le site du Vietnam ainsi reconnu et le 2e en Asie du Sud-Est. À Dông Van, les ethnies Hmong, Hoa, Dzay, Tay, Nung... vivent depuis longtemps en étroite harmonie. Ces groupes ethniques partagent en partie une même culture, et c’est peut-être là l’origine du nom de «Dông Van» qui signifie en effet «partage de culture».
Jour 8. Dong Van – Meo Vac - Bao Lac (80 km?) (B)
Après la visite du marché Dong Van, départ pour Bao Lac en passant par Meo Vac (cette ville est célèbre pour son marché unique des amoureux Khau Vai ayant lieu une fois par an le 27 Mars lunaire). Préparez-vous pour une journée d’aventure et un circuit des photos pour rejoindre Bao Lac. On y voit une région de haute montagne dont l’accès est assez difficile mais les paysages grandioses, fantastiques, uniques des montagnes karstiques et les rencontres vous offre l’impression d’entrer dans l’univers féérique des tableaux de Chine. Plusieurs arrêts sont nécessaires, notamment au col fabuleux Ma Pi Leng pour remplir la carte mémoire de vos appareils photos. À 12 km de Dông Van, visite de l’ancienne résidence de Vuong Chi Sinh, roi des Hmong le plus gros commerçant d’opium de la région au début du XXe siècle. C’est un somptueux palais reproduisant l’architecture chinoise en pierre et bois de la dynastie des Qing. Continuation de la route pour franchir le col de Ma Pi Leng (2000m d’altitude), l’un des quatre cols les plus grandioses du Nord-Ouest du Vietnam. En cours de route, opportunité de voir des Hmong Bleu et Blanc et des Lo Lo présents seulement dans cette région avant de descendre tranquillement à Bao Lac.
Arrivée à la ville de Bảo Lạc en milieu d'après-midi. Installation à votre hôtel et puis promenade dans les alentours de la ville. Retour à l’hôtel en fin de journée. Dîner libre et nuit à l’hôtel.
Jour 9. Bao Lac – Ba Be (120 km) (B/L/D)
Après le petit-déjeuner, départ pour Ba Be en prenant une petite route via Na Ban et Na Phac. Arrêts en cours de route pour visiter quelques vestiges du temps colonial, notamment un château construit par les français. Arrivée à Ba Be en début d’après-midi. Installation chez l’habitant dans le village de Pac Ngoi de l’ethnie Tay. Temps libre pour découvrir vous-même tranquillement le village et les paysages autour du Lac. Déjeuner et dîner chez l'habitant et nuit chez l’habitant.
Ce n’est pas par hasard que l’on appelle ce site "la baie d'Along sur montagne" : les rochers karstiques se cachent dans les nuages, la brume en se plongeant dans un lac naturel environnées de montagnes et recouvert d’une végétation spécifique à la région. Tout ça nous nous offre vraiment un cadre naturel sauvage et fantastique.
Jour 10. Ba Be (B/L/D)
Visite en bateau du Lac de Ba Be en se plongeant dans un cadre féérique avec autant d’îlots qui se succéderaient à l’horizon et la verdure à perte de vue. Continuation de la promenade jusqu’à la chute d’eau Dau Dang et marche sur une piste de montagne pour rejoindre la grotte Poung, l’abri des chauves-souris. Déjeuner chez l’habitant Tay dans une maison au bord de la rivière.
Retour en bateau au village Pac Ngoi. Visite à pied du village de Pac Ngoi et de celui de Polu des Tays, ethnie représente 1,1 million de personnes vivant majoritairement dans les vallées du Nord – Est du Vietnam. Dîner et Deuxième nuit chez l’habitant.
Jour 11. Ba Be – Hanoï (250 km) (B)
Après le petit-déjeuner, transfert à Hanoi par une belle route de montagnes traversant le pays des Tay et la moyenne région du Nord. De beaux paysages, des villages typiques se défilent. Des arrêts à l’improviste en cours de route pour découvrir les curiosités locales.
Arrivée à Hanoi en début d’après-midi. Séance de massage aux herbes médicinales pendant environ 1H30 pour vous relaxer après les dix jours d’aventure. Installation ensuite à votre hôtel et temps libre pour vous reposer. Dîner libre et nuit à l’hôtel.
Jour 12. Hanoi – Baie d’Along (180 km) (B/L/D)
Vers 7h30, départ pour la Baie d'Along, à 180km de Hanoï environ (4h de route) en empruntant la route qui traverse plusieurs provinces et villes situés dans bassin du Fleuve Rouge et des paysages différents qui caractérisent le delta du Fleuve rouge. Embarquement sur la jonque en bois vers 12h ou 12h30. Déjeuner vers 13h15 ou 13h30. Navigation dans le cadre féérique de cette baie estimée comme l’un des plus beaux sites du monde : 1969 îles, îlots et rochers karstiques recouverts d’une végétation luxuriante, percés de centaines de grottes et émergeant d’une mer couleur de jade que sillonnent des sampans…. Vous vivrez exactement, comme Catherine Deneuve, le décor du film « Indochine » Durant la croisière, visite du village flottant de pêcheurs caché sous le pied des montagnes inondées. Promenade en petite embarcation autour du village, possibilité de baignade ou de kayak. Retour à votre bateau de croisière, profitez du coucher du soleil pendant que la jonque se dirige vers le point d’ancrage. Nuit inoubliable à bord d’une confortable jonque avec la cabine privée.
Jour 13. Baie d’Along – Hanoï (B/L)
Réveil à l’aurore pour contempler le lever du soleil. C’est un moment privilégié pour faire de la méditation et pour prendre un bain matinal dans la baie. Le petit-déjeuner est servi à 8h pendant que la jonque se met en trajet tout doucement en direction de l’embarcadère. La croisière de retour vous permet de découvrir d’autres coins de la baie, notamment la visite d’une grotte. Et puis, continuation de la croisière dans la baie d'Along au milieu d'innombrables îlots pour satisfaire les jeux et remplir votre album des photos de carte postale en s’allongeant sur le pont supérieur du bateau. Ce sont des moments forts des visiteurs. Vers 11h ou 11h30, débarquement et puis départ pour Hanoï. Sur le chemin, visite de la pagode But Thap une des plus belles pagodes du Vietnam. Dîner libre et nuit à l'hôtel Hanoï.
Jour 14. Hanoï départ
Temps libre jusqu’au transfert à l’aéroport pour votre vol de retour.
